                   Music We Remember!

Each generation has their own music and even though time goes by, that music still evokes memories of our childhood, high school days and our first love.  I remember my mother (currently in her 80's) loved the swing bands.  In my early teens I was enthralled with the Beatles and couldn't understand why she still listened to that darn 40's music, when she could be groovin to John, Paul, Ringo and George.  Now that I'm in my 50's, I get it!

We are time dated by our music and understandably so.  I still light up when I hear Rod Stewart or Bruce Springsteen on the radio.  It takes me back to my youth; a time when all things seemed possible.  I would create a new world in which I would continually evolve, grow and experience all things cosmic.  I would never grow old, or act old, like my parents.  Time has away of taming even the most adventurous of souls, not that I was ever adventurous.  I just assumed one day I would be.  And who knows, maybe that day has yet to arrive.  Ending up a late bloomer would not surprise me one bit.

Want to take a trip down memory lane?  Listen to the music of your era and try
not to tap your toes, sing along or smile.  Enjoy the memories.
